BioSensei Industrial · part of Ajinomatrix BioSphere
Environmental telemetry, evidence-based priorities and operational support for the people who run fish farms, hatcheries, smart aquariums, research habitats and zoological systems — with Ajinomatrix sensory modelling as a research layer for feed.

How the offer is organised
Everything on this page describes proposed offerings and research directions. We do not claim existing contracts, certified integrations, validated fish-feed prediction or demonstrated aquaculture ROI. When a pilot produces evidence, we will publish it here with its date.

01 · Four industrial directions
Fish farms, hatcheries and recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS): environmental monitoring, explained operational priorities, anomaly flags that separate a sensor fault from a real event, and hand-over briefs for shift staff.
The Intelligent Aquaculture PoC →For makers of connected aquariums, sensors and controllers: authorised API integration, compatibility testing and, in time, white-label options. Discussions are exploratory; no device is certified.
Manufacturer programme →TasteTuner-origin (TT-o) applies Ajinomatrix sensory modelling to raw-material choices. Its first application is cocoa origin sourcing. Applying it to fish-feed formulation is a research hypothesis that must be tested on fish, species by species.
How we would test it →Research laboratories, teaching habitats, zoological and marine installations: instrumentation, evidence logging and replicable protocols developed at the Haverim Living Laboratory.
BioSphere Research Lab →02 · BioSensei Aqua × TT-o
Our hypothesis: whether fish accept a feed depends not only on what the feed contains, but also on the water they eat it in. A pilot can test this by tracking both at once.
| Cocoa | TT-o v0.1 — profiles cocoa origins and harvests so a chocolate maker can choose lots by expected sensory outcome. |
| Aquaculture | Proposed — profiles feed formulations against environmental context so a farm can choose the feed fish are most likely to accept. |
| Caveat | Human taste models do not transfer to fish by assumption. Fish acceptance must be measured on the species in question before any prediction is offered. |
Who we are looking for: RAS operators, hatcheries, feed manufacturers and research aquaculture facilities.
03 · The platform
The same SysOps layer serves every direction above. It was built and is run on the Ajinomatrix BioSphere ecosystems in Rebecq, Belgium.
| Available | Evidence freshness — every sensor value marked live, recent, stale, offline or suspect; a last-known value never poses as current. |
| Available | Explained priorities — which system needs attention first, the evidence behind it, and what to check first. |
| Available | Manual and sensor logging in one history, with CSV export; plain-language hand-over briefs for caretakers and shift staff. |
| Experimental | Edge collectors and Zigbee telemetry — probes and home bridges reporting about every ten minutes on the BioSphere ecosystems. |
| Experimental | SysOps operations — incident register, configuration lineage, knowledge base and fleet telemetry, born on a solar-fountain testbed. |
| Research | Aquaculture profiles — species-specific ranges and feeding-event logging for farm and hatchery tanks. |
| Research | TT-o for feed — formulation modelling for fish feed acceptance, pending experimental validation. |
| Planned | Manufacturer and controller connectivity — authorised integrations only; no equipment control is offered today. |
04 · Ways to work together
A scoped trial with a written protocol, a defined question and a shared dataset.
Connect your equipment or data source through an authorised interface, tested on our bench first.
Instrumentation, collectors, dashboards and protocols for your installation.
Joint development, technology licensing and, where it fits, white-label deployment.
05 · The lifetime challenge
Three BioSensei-family tools, combined into one research triptych: run a closed habitat the way a space station must, then learn whether the same loop of observation, operations and anticipation can help steward larger biosystems — with large models integrated along the way. We say it openly: this is a long shot, and the lifetime challenge of the project.
How to read this. The left column is real software at the stages shown. The station PoC is a research concept built on the BioSphere life-support work, and Earth-scale biosystems regulation is a declared long-term ambition, not a product or a promise. No space agency or institutional partnership is claimed. Each step will be published here with its date and evidence. Background: Black Swan Precog (BSPG) · BioSphere Research Lab.
